Construction Update: The Village at Gray’s Crossing in Truckee, Ca
The Huff Team continues to make exciting progress for the Village at Gray’s Crossing project in Truckee, CA.
We are building 24 luxurious mountain-modern residences from the ground up. This project features a collection of 4 unique & spacious floorplans that include 3 bedrooms, 3-4 baths, and range between 1,893 sq. ft. and 2,573 sq. ft.

Completed Construction: Turlock Self Storage in Turlock, Ca
The Huff Team recently completed construction for the Turlock Self Storage project in Turlock, CA.
This facility includes 6 Huff Metal buildings and a two-story wood-framed manager’s office. In total, the facility encompasses 78,484 square feet and holds 478 rentable storage units.
As always, Huff Metal Buildings are 100% made in America and come from over 70% recycled steel.

Construction Update: Guard Dog Self Storage project in Galt, CA
Check out the Huff Team’s progress in building the Guard Dog Self Storage project in Galt, CA.
This project is being built from the ground up on a 6.4-acre parcel. The facility consists of six masonry block self-storage buildings that encompass 69,720 square feet.
In total, Guard Dog Self Storage will hold 625 rentable storage units including 20 accessible units and 93 RV parking spaces.
Huff Metal Buildings: Certified Collision Center in Oakdale, CA
The Huff Metal Buildings team is building the new Certified Collision Center in Oakdale, CA.
This project is a part of our design-build delivery process which gives our client numerous benefits including effective communication, total accountability of the assembled team, faster project completion, and inherent cost savings.
This project is built from the ground up and encompasses 23,800 square feet. Some features include a 14,000-square-foot auto repair area, a 6,000-square-foot painting booth, and a 2,000-square-foot office and retail shop.

I am from Turlock, CA
What do you do at work?
I am a Superintendent, Team Leader, Motivator, Supervisor, and Builder.
What did you do before working at Huff Construction?
Before working at Huff Construction, I was working as a turnkey custom home builder and I ran a production framing crew.
How did you get your start at Huff Construction?
I was hired as a part-time restoration & rebuild specialist.
What makes you excited to go to work in the morning?
Knowing that I have an opportunity to continue doing what I love. I’m passionate about building, it doesn’t feel like work to me.
What’s your favorite part about working at Huff?
My favorite part about working at Huff includes working with design teams, developers, and the Huff Team. At Huff, I enjoy coordinating teams as a leader, striving for the highest quality, modifying details to better the project, striving for a zero punch list, and having the ability to make decisions knowing that upper management will continue to support me. At Huff, we are a Team!
How does Huff support you as an employee?
Huff supports us to make appropriate decisions, furthers our training & education, and provides one-on-one mentoring.
What has surprised you about working at Huff?
What surprises me is the diverse array of projects, in industry and scale, that we build. I enjoy being a part of a team that builds different types of projects.

I’ve got two favorite projects: The Turlock Christian Elementary School and The Enclave at Del Rio
Which project is/was the most complex?
The Element Hotel in San Jose, CA was the most complex.

What has been your proudest/favorite moment at Huff?
My proudest moment was when I was given the opportunity to be Lead Superintendent at The Element Hotel in San Jose, CA.
What are your favorite things to do outside of work?
My favorite things to do outside of work are spending quality time with my wife and family.
Who or what inspires you?
My father inspires me the most.
