Veterans Housing That Builds Community and Lasting Stability
We’re proud to announce the completion of Lightfighter Village, a new affordable housing community in Marina, CA, dedicated to veterans and their families. This 71-unit development was thoughtfully designed and constructed to provide not just housing—but a place to call home—for those who have served our country.

As the general contractor, Huff Construction was honored to work alongside EAH Housing and Veterans Transition Center of California (VTC) to bring this transformative community to life. From day one, this project has been about more than buildings—it’s about people, stability, and dignity.
A Space Designed with Veterans in Mind
Lightfighter Village offers a mix of studio and two-bedroom apartments to support a range of needs. But it’s the details that make this community truly special. Residents have access to a wide array of on-site amenities, including:
- A community room and computer lab
- A meditation space and fitness center
- A laundry facility and pet wash station
- Outdoor gathering areas to promote connection
Every element was designed to provide comfort, support, and a sense of belonging.
Collaboration and Trust
We’re grateful to our long-standing partner, EAH Housing, and their co-developer, the Veterans Transition Center of California, for placing their trust in our team. We also extend our appreciation to the local trade partners and professionals who helped ensure that every aspect of construction reflected the quality and care this community deserves.
Projects like Lightfighter Village remind us why we do what we do. They highlight the power of construction to strengthen communities, restore hope, and create meaningful, lasting impact.
Building Excellence, Every Step of the Way
Lightfighter Village reflects our core values at Huff Construction—integrity, quality, and a deep commitment to those we serve. We’re proud to have played a role in creating a place where veterans and their families can thrive.
